The NCISAA Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (NCISAATFCCCA) announced the recipients of the 2019 Track and Field Athletes of the Year and Coaches of the Year Awards.

Rising senior Lee Langstaff of Carolina Day School is the recipient of the Track and Field Athlete of the Year Award in the 3A classification. The NCISAATFCCCA recognizes one girl and one boy as ‘Athlete of the Year’ per classification as well as a ‘Coach of the Year’ for each classification. These student-athletes and coaches embody the definition of hard work, commitment, leadership and passion for the sport of Track and Field.

Each of the award winners will be receiving a plaque and certificate from the Coaches Association. The plaques and certificates will be sent out to the recipient’s school in the next few weeks.
