Angel Medical Center Celebrates Top Nurses
Congratulations to Angel Medical Center’s 2021 DAISY Award recipients Peggy Ramey, RN, CNOR, and DAISY Nurse Leader Award recipient Angie Oates, RN, CEN, CPEN.
Ramey serves as a nurse in the hospital’s surgical services department and Oates is a nurse in the Emergency Department. Their awards were presented recently at a ceremony at Angel Medical Center. The DAISY Foundation is a national nonprofit that honors nurses and the amazing care they provide to patients and families.
CEO of AdventHealth Hendersonville Moving On
Cory Reeves is leaving his position as president and CEO of AdventHealth Hendersonville. This move will be effective June 18, 2021.
“I want to thank Cory for his nearly two decades of service to AdventHealth and his leadership both to our organization and the communities we serve,” said Mike Murrill, President/CEO, AdventHealth Southeast Region and Chairman of the AdventHealth Hendersonville Board. “We appreciate Cory’s contributions and the many things he has accomplished during his time with AdventHealth. He has been an incredible example of the mission and commitment to whole-person care that are hallmarks of AdventHealth.”
We have begun work to select a permanent replacement within the next few weeks.
Former AdventHealth Southeast Regional CEO Pete Weber will serve as the interim CEO for Hendersonville. Weber is a longtime member of the AdventHealth family and former chair of the AdventHealth Hendersonville board for many years.
