The Lion soccer team dropped a penalty kick thriller on the road at Asheville School last week.  Asheville School jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead but the Lions fought their way back into the contest in the second half.  Sam Flagler got the scoring started in the 53rd minute off a pass from Graham Collie.  Jesse Pruitt scored the second goal of the half in the 74th minute and  the Lions tied the score with just two minutes remaining when Graham Collie found the back of the net.  In overtime, Ben Michael gave the Lions the 4-3 lead but Asheville School responded with a goal in the 89th minute sending the contest to penalty kicks.  The Lions struggled at the penalty stripe  and were unable to get the ball past the Asheville School keeper eventually falling 3-0 in penalty kicks.
