The elegant affair will be held at the A-B Tech Conference Center on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 6 – 9 p.m. with a VIP Pre-Gala Reception from 5:30-6:30.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit local animals in need through the Asheville Humane Society.

Local businesses, artists and individuals have donated a variety of items, services and experiences for the silent and live auctions. The signature live auction item that will be up for bid is the 2019 Subaru Outback fromPrestige Subaru.

New to the auction this year is a "Day in the Air" - a private flight piloted by Dr. David Crouch of Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery. The lucky winner will enjoy aerial views of Asheville, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

All guests will be treated to wine courtesy of Mutual Distributing and beer by Oskar Blues Brewery. Eleven local restaurants and chefs will provide an array of delicious vegan and vegetarian hors d’oeuvres to be enjoyed throughout the evening.

Chef Jason Sellers of Plant will be serving his award-winning vegan cuisine for VIP guests during the Pre-Gala Reception. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ P-LO, a 5-star rated DJ who uses his trumpet, piano and vocals to provide the ultimate musical package.
