The Park Ridge Health Foundation invites the community to “Experience London” at its 2016 Annual Gala. This year’s Park Ridge Health Foundation Gala will take place on Thursday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. at The Crest Center and Pavilion in Asheville.

The London setting will transport guests to England for superspy fun with a James Bond theme. Guests will enjoy a variety of interactive stations, silent and live auction surprises and a sit down dinner.

The program will feature a presentation of the Dr. P.J. Moore, Jr. & Dr. Arthur A. Pearson Award of Excellence to an outstanding individual or organization of the local community. This year’s award recipient is Mrs. Tanya Blackford, Executive Director of SafeLight, a nonprofit agency that provides support for victims of interpersonal violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

The proceeds of this year’s Gala ticket sales will help fund a transformation to the Park Ridge Health Main Campus second floor Behavioral Health Services. Our Behavioral Health Services include the Hope Women’s Program which offers a full range of programs for psychiatric treatment in the only dedicated women’s inpatient wing in Western North Carolina. We also have a geriatrics and med-psych program designed to address the behavioral care needs along with the physical and psychiatric needs of adults ages 65 and older.

Various sponsorship levels are available for the “Experience London” Gala for those interested in showcasing their business and generosity to health and wellness in our community.

The “Experience London” Gala includes a chance drawing for a trip to London. The winner receives two, round-trip coach airline tickets with departure from Asheville Regional Airport along with a five night, double occupancy stay in a London hotel. A single ticket purchase is $25 or you may purchase five tickets for $100 at parkridgeGALA.com
