The Asheville Ballet is accepting applications for its prestigious Blue Ridge Dance Camp, running from Aug. 4-9.

The resident summer intensive offers daily classes in ballet, pointe, repertoire, modern, jazz, choreography, and dance history. Serious students ages 11-18 can pursue their training in a supportive, fun, personal environment. The professional staff insures proper instruction at appropriate levels. A limit of 15 resident students guarantees individual attention. All-inclusive cost for the camp is $700.

Classes are held at The Asheville Ballet’s state-of-the-art studio, equipped with a 2,000 square foot resilient, safe dance floor.

Students sleep, and eat delicious, healthful, home-made dinners in the Director’s home.

Eden Landgrover will be the camp counselor for Blue Ridge Dance Camp. Eden graduated from The Asheville Academy of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and performed with The Asheville Ballet.

Graduates have become members of major international ballet and modern companies or performed on Broadway and in Hollywood films.
