Daniela Liebman

Brevard Music Center (BMC), in association with Brevard College in Brevard will continue its free Community Concert Series.

On Monday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. BMC's First Mondays concert—held at the Porter Center (Brevard College)—will feature pianist Daniela Liebman in an exquisite program including Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 24 “A Therese,” Schubert's "Four Impromptus," Chopin's Ballade No. 1, and Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 3.

BMC's free First Mondays concerts in Brevard continue through May 2019; the Music Center’s Hendersonville-based Chamber Music Tuesdays concerts, in association with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, resume in March, April, and May of 2019.

November’s local First Mondays Charity Partner is Brevard Ballet (brevardballet.org). Brevard Ballet will present a preview of Nutcracker 2018 at noon, immediately prior to the start of the First Mondays concert. Brevard Ballet dancers (ages 10-19) will perform the "Dolls' Variation," "Chinese and Russian Dances," and the "Dance of the Polichinelles."

“It is a delight to bring such passionate and beautiful artistry to the Porter Center each month," said Brevard Music Center President & CEO Mark Weinstein. "We give special thanks at this time of the year for the enthusiasm audiences who celebrate our mutual love of classical music and distinguished world-class musicians like Daniela Liebman, as well as the talented youth of Brevard Ballet who grace us with their joyful dancing each season. Our free First Mondays concert is always the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon—please join us!"
