A group of extraordinary young musicians will be taking to the road for the 6th annual One Voice Project Empowerment Tour April 14-20. The One Voice Project is a group of youth singers and musicians who have made a commitment to make a difference in the world with their music; they will be visiting schools and concert venues around Asheville.

Headlining the tour is The Change, an all girl funk band who are ambassadors for Free2Luv, a national organization dedicated to rocking kindness, celebrating equality, spreading kindness, and standing up to bullying. They travel to schools, after school programs, community centers and more with their concert tour.

The One Voice Project is based in Princeton, WV and has traveled to all over, spreading a message of empowerment. They hope to ignite a passion in the audience that will inspire positive choices and self respect. They touch on topics such as bullying, anxiety and depression, overcoming adversity, self esteem, and goal development. The artists and speakers are high schoolers themselves and understand first hand what their peers may be experiencing.

They deliver a true concert experience with professional sound and lighting with exciting popular music with positive, uplifting lyrics. In between songs, artists share their stories of overcoming adversity. This may include bullying, dealing with disabilities, or depression or anxiety. Artists give encouragement to those who may have experienced the same while offering real advice on how to cope with these types of situations.
