Tango dancers

De la Noche and THE BLOCK off Biltmore present an evening of classic and nouveau Argentine tango music for dancing or listening.

On Sunday Oct. 28, De La Noche will be playing tracks from the new CD, "De La Noche" which has 11 tracks of favorite tangos including La Comparsita by Gerardo Matos Rodríguez and Oblivion by Astor Piazzolla. CD's will be available for sale at $10 each.  

Get out your party dresses and tango shoes (optional!) and come and join the fun at THE BLOCK off Biltmore, 39 S. Market St, Asheville.  

Band members: Lew Gelfond & Paul Stroebel, violins; Patrick Kukucka, bandoneon; Marilynn Seits, piano; Jeffrey Hersk, double bass. 

THE BLOCK off biltmore is a lovely venue in a historic building and features a full bar. Tango dance instruction begins at 7:30 p.m. and dancing to Traditional and Nouveau Argentine music by De la Noche begins around 8:30 p.m. Admission is $12.
