Cirque Musica

The Asheville Symphony’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration reaches new heights this year, with a performance of Cirque Musica’s Crescendo. This thrilling cirque experience features jugglers, acrobats, and contortionists in daring feats of balance and strength, set to musical favorites from classical, pops and more performed by the Asheville Symphony.

The concert takes place on Monday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. in downtown Asheville’s Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, under the baton of Asheville Symphony Music Director Darko Butorac.

Crescendo’s musical program includes highlights from many beloved works including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Holst’s The Planets, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and many more.
