Brevard Music Center (BMC) in association with Brevard College in Brevard, is pleased to announce the next offering in its free Community Concert Series.

On Monday, Dec. 3 at 12:30 p.m., BMC's First Mondays concert — held at the Porter Center  — features saxophonist Henning Schröder and percussionist Gerald Noble in a rhythmic and rousing program including works by Andy Scott, Russell Peterson, Alex Orfaly, David Lang, and BMC composition faculty member Greg Simon

BMC's free First Mondays concerts in Brevard continue through May 2019; the Music Center’s Hendersonville-based Chamber Music Tuesdays concerts, in association with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, resume in March, April, and May of 2019.

“As 2018 draws to a close, we extend our thanks and gratitude to the many music-lovers who support Brevard Music Center throughout the year," said Brevard Music Center President & CEO Mark Weinstein. "But without fine music-makers, we could not accomplish our mission of teaching gifted young musicians to prepare and perform great works at a high artistic level."
