The Historic Biltmore Village Association announced that Dec. 6 will mark the 31st Annual Dickens Christmas Celebration on the Village Green, featuring live music and entertainment, the Mugs of Merriment Hot Chocolate Competition, and a festive tree- and street-lighting at sundown.

Over 20 live acts of entertainment will begin performing at 5 p.m., and the celebration will conclude around 8 p.m. Winners of the Mugs of Merriment competition will be announced at 6:30 by guest judges Jason Sanford, Stu Helm, and Ingrid Allstaedt. Our live 22-foot tree and street installations will be lit shortly after prize raffles are given out at 7pm.

Food, atmosphere, and festivities will be provided by local establishments such as the Olde World Christmas Shoppe, Corner Kitchen, Rezaz, Village Wayside, Red Stag Grill, and Dining Innovations/Doubletree Biltmore.

There will be many activities available to bring cheer to children throughout the event, such as the chance to write letters to Santa, decorate cookies, and make ornaments.
