The Nickelodeon costumed characters will be making scheduled appearances in the Hacienda to take pictures and interact with fans throughout the weekend. Kids will be thrilled to spend time with Pablo, Uniqua and Tyrone, as well as enjoy Wild West adventure at North Carolina¹s first theme park.

The Backyardigans is a popular CGI-animated series that follows five high-spirited neighbors who meet in their adjoining backyards and use their imaginations to transport themselves to different locations for epic adventures, all set to a backdrop of music and dance. The Backyardigans gang is made up of Pablo, an energetic, enthusiastic and excitable penguin; Pablo¹s best friend Tyrone, an easy-going, confident young moose; Uniqua, a one-of-a-kind character with an adventurous nature; Tasha, a deceptively sweet and girlish hippo; and Austin, a resourceful and shy kangaroo.

Visitors can enjoy special appearances from Pablo, Uniqua and Tyrone at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. daily, as well as the rides, shows and Wild West fun available all season long at Tweetsie Railroad.

In addition, Tweetsie Railroad also features live shows, shops, great food, special events, train rides and nearly 20 rides and attractions —  making it the perfect family friendly getaway.
