Splashville is Open for 2017

With summer temperatures creeping into the forecast you can bet there are some really hot days in store for all of us. Fortunately you visit downtown Asheville to find relief from the rising heat waves at Splashville in Pack Square Park.

Feel free to leave your wallet at home because this water adventure won’t break the bank.

Splashville, Asheville’s splash play fountain in Pack Square Park, has passed its annual inspection from the Buncombe County Health Department and is now open for the season.

The fountain is welcome to everyone to come play. The interactive water feature delights children with its 21 jets of water that run in 12 combinations.

Asheville’s newest interactive water fountain, is located in downtown Asheville in Pack Square Park, is open and flowing daily. With arching sprays of water that fly up randomly this is a perfect way to get soaked and cool off. Let the summer sun dry you off while relaxing on the rolling green field that the park provides. The fountain runs from 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. seven days a week with the exception of closures for inclement weather or special events.

For more information, call Asheville Parks & Recreation at 828-259-5800. To keep up with closures for special events, follow Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page.

It will close on Friday, June 9 at 5 p.m. for Movies in the Park. Splashville will close during inclement weather in the same way pools do.
