The 2018-2019 Broadway season at the Peace Center offers timeless stories of hope and history, a celebration of the undying human spirit and moments of uproarious laughter.
The productions in the nine-show season all come straight from Broadway and boast a combined 32 Tony Awards®, including the 2017 winner for Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, and the 2017 winner for Best Musical Revival, Hello, Dolly!, starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley.
The season also includes two previous Best Musical Tony Award winners, including the South Carolina premiere of Hamilton. Back by popular demand, The Book of Mormon returns to the Peace Center.

Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.
