It’s time for seniors to say goodbye at Asheville Christian Academy.  Graduation is just a few short weeks away and the time for seniors to play those final moments together on their respective fields has come.

Senior day celebrations took place this past week with one final home win for both the women’s soccer team and baseball squad.  The soccer team faced off against Asheville School and trounced the Blues 7-1.  They followed that win up with a 2-1 victory over Carolina Day and in so doing secured yet another ACC Conference Championship for the Lions.

The Lions finish off their regular season with a 14-2-1 overall record and received the #3 seed in the upcoming NCISAA tournament.  They will kick off their playoff action on Saturday, May 13 at home.

The baseball team finished their regular season with two strong performances.  On senior day, they rolled over Asheville School for the 13-3 win and then tripped up Carolina Day to enter post season play on a high note.

The Lions finished their regular season with a 7-10 overall record but managed to secure the #13 seed in the NCISAA tournament.  They will play on the road at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill in the opening round game on Tuesday, May 9.

In other sprig sport news the golf team will play in their state tournament on May 15 and 16 at the Mid South Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC.
