Fat Tire on special every Friday with free live music
New Belgium Brewing will host Fat Tire Fridays with live music all summer at its Liquid Center tasting room along the French Broad River, 21 Craven St., Asheville. Music sets run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and are just part of the fun on Fridays as New Belgium celebrates the craft beer icon, Fat Tire Belgian Ale. With $3 Fat Tires all day on Fridays, New Belgium invites everyone to come out and play.
“It doesn’t get much better than sipping a fresh, locally brewed Fat Tire, while listening to live local music and watching the sunset along the river on Friday evenings,” said Jen Stampley, New Belgium event planner. “It’s a time of day that’s tough to find live music in Asheville, and it’s free and family friendly.”
In a town with an amazing local and touring music scene, the brewery has a solid summer calendar, including local bands like Aaron Woody Wood, Coconut Cake and Ouroboros Boys and touring bands like Dragondeer out of Denver, Colorado.
