Help MANNA Fill Empty Bowls Sept. 26

Today in Western North Carolina, one in six people and one in four children is facing an empty bowl —  you can help fill it.

Take home a beautiful bowl of handmade pottery as a reminder of the thousands of empty bowls in WNC while supporting MANNA Food Bank on Monday, Sept. 25 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville – Biltmore.

Guests participating in MANNA Food Bank’s 16th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser will enjoy an amazing selection of delicious soups, bread, and sweet treats, with live music for entertainment. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and dinner will be offered from 5-7:30 p.m. at 115 Hendersonville Road in Asheville.
Tickets are $40 for a drop-in style lunch or dinner and include your meal and a handmade bowl. Kids’ tickets are $10 for ages up to 12, available for dinner only, and include a meal, no bowl.
Each ticket sold will provide the food for 140 meals and supports MANNA’s mission to end hunger in WNC.
Tickets are advanced sales only and can be purchased at MANNAEvents.org or by calling 828-299-FOOD (3663).
