Donny Sykes and Ebony Blake.

Summer may be drawing to a close, but Fall is about to heat up at Flat RockPlayhouse with a brand new Music on the Rock paying tribute to 5-time Grammy winner, Lionel Richie, and the lead singer of Motown’s most successful act, Diana Ross.

With hits that caused a Chain Reaction for Americans and music lovers across the world, this dynamic duo will turn the Music on the Rock series Upside Down with Endless Love and hit tunes that could make even Fools Fall in Love.  The Music of Lionel Richie & Diana Ross will run from Sept. 28 – Oct. 8th at The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown on Main Street in Hendersonville.

Lionel Richie and Diana Ross, both American singers, songwriters, actors & record producers in their own right, remain two of the most celebrated and best-selling artists of all time in their group & solo careers.

Featuring classics by these two phenomenal artists such as “Say You, Say Me”, “Endless Love”, “Stuck on You”, “Love Hangover”, “Truly”, and “Three Times a Lady”, this upcoming Music on the Rock tribute to Lionel Richie & Diana Ross is the perfect way to ring in the season with soul, funk, rhythm, and blues.  This concert series will star performing artists, Donny Sykes and Ebony Blake, and feature a sensational band made up of Will Moss, Casey Cramer, Daniel Ianucci, Nathan Hefner, and Phill Bronson on Synth, Guitar, Bass, Key II/Synth and Drums, respectively.  Moss will also serve as Music Director.  With these artists & the incredible repertoire of Lionel Richie & Diana Ross, it’s safe to say that there Ain’t No Mountain High Enough to keep this Music on the Rock concert series from being Western North Carolina’s premier entertainment.

The Music of Lionel Richie & Diana Ross will run Sept. 28 through Oct. 8 at The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown.  Performances Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings 8 p.m., matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 – $30 and can be purchased by calling the Playhouse Box Office at 828-693-0731, toll-free at 866-732-8008 or online at www.flatrockplayhouse.org.
