Connie Bostic Exhibition Coming to Pink Dog Creative

Connie Bostic’s art exhibition “The Heart of Everything That is: Homage to the Water Protectors at Standing Rock” will be on display at the Pink Dog Creative Gallery, 348 Depot St., Asheville starting Oct. 6.

Running through Nov. 5, the exhibition will kick off with an opening reception on opening day, Oct. 6 from 5:30-8  p.m.

Bostic will have new oil paintings and watercolors on display.

“A number of years ago I was privileged to visit the Pine Ridge Reservation and theWounded Knee Cemetery,” Bostic said. “It was a life-changing experience. I was not in a position to travel to StandingRock, but following the protests there became an obsession. These paintings are an effort to honor the courage and commitment of those who were there.”
