Andrew Scotchie Returns for 25th Birthday Bash

Asheville native Andrew Scotchie returns to Asheville’s ISIS Music Hall on Saturday, Jan. 20 with his band the River Rats along with several special guests to celebrate turning 25 and remember the life of his father Tom Scotchie.

One man band phenomenon “Shake It Like A Caveman” kicks off the show at 9 pm followed by The River Rats featuring Brie Capone, David Earl and more.   Join Scotchie and friends Jan 20 at Isis Music Hall for a night that is guaranteed to satisfy the most eclectic of musical palettes.

Delivered as if on a platter made of rust and steel, Scotchie’s music borrows from the grit of the Rolling Stones. The River Rats bind it with elements of old-school soul and Lightnin’ Hopkins blues into a rhythm that rocks with purity. Special guests include Shake It Like a Caveman, Brie Capone, David Earl, Agustin Frederic, members of Deja Fuze and more.

The show starts at 9 p.m. in West Asheville at 743 Haywood Road.

The show is open to all ages. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $12 the day of the show. For tickets, visit http://isisasheville.com/event/andrew-scotchies-birthday-day-bash/.
